My body hurts and i aint got no voice but if it's to see these dolls then it's all worth it!

ashley, melody, nicole, carmit, kimberly, jessica
I watched the Pussycat Dolls purr and cat-strut their hot selves at the Araneta Coliseum yesterday, July 28, 2006 with my pussy-pal, Josel. The big dome was full of screaming fans of all ages, shapes, AND gender. Seriously. Ang funny pa nga cuz there were like 4 guys seated behind us. Straight guys? Hmm..too early to tell. Anyway, they asked the soda guy if they can order a beer. In my mind i was like feeling ata nitong mga 'to nasa strip club sila... Sabagay, it was a PCD show, why not rein free the classic Vegas strip club fantasy. Libre naman mangarap.
I didn't pay attention to the front acts. The crowd seemed to like em but i was starting to get bored. When the 89.9 Magic DJs announced that the PCDs were coming out, my blood immediately rushed to my veins! I stood up (as everyone else did too) & started screaming. I was eating ice cream by the way which explained my current state of temporary muteness.

They opened the show with a "Buttons" & "Beep" medley. People went crazy over Nicole Scherzinger, the lead Pussycat. She's half-Filipina, half-Russian. She said she always wanted to go to the Philippines and that she's, and i quote, "proud to be Pinay!". They were all so pretty, sexy, talented & malalandi! I love em! It really felt like Vegas especially when they did the "Pink Panther" bit.
The guys behind us were raving maniacs halos mamatay na kakasigaw. One or two of em were moaning pa "Oh yeah, yeah!!! Ooohh..." Portah pervert tong mga to.
Going back.. the Dolls changed outfits, afterwhich they sang their ballad "Stick Wit U". The entire coliseum was singing along w/them it was almost a national anthem. After the song, Nicole Scherzinger got emotional & cried. It was such a sweet moment. She was so overwhelmed. She didn't expect the warmth, the appreciation, the love na sobra-sobrang ganun. Sabi nga nya it's the best show they've had so far. Nag-melt rin ako parang sinuntok ako sa heart e. Kung ako siguro si Nicole maiiyak talaga ako. The PCDs couldn't move on w/the show cuz Nicole couldn't stop crying. Medyo matagal din yung emotio moment, but of course the show must go on so Carmit, the redhead Pussycat, filled-in the dead air by announcing that they're gonna do a happy number. They started the happy song while Nicole was trying to recover at the back, it wasn't long til she joined the number though, and everyone was, true enough, happy again!
It was really fun, they connected w/the fans, even had a dance showdown w/a few lucky people (shux sobrang inggit talaga kami ni Josel!). Hindi nagamit yung mga upuan cuz we were standing the entire show, walang chance magpahinga! Pero uber saya talaga.
They sang a lot of upbeat songs, including cuts na di pa na-release like "Wait a Minute" and "I Dont Need a Man". When Nicole said that their next song was "Hotstuff" yung isang guy sa likod namin whispered rather loudly, "Pare paborito ko yang Hotstuff". Muntik nako masamid! I guess that proved our earlier suspicion hahaha!
PCD closed the show w/my ultimate fave "Sway" - their 1st single featured in the film "Shall we Dance". And shempre hindi pwedeng hindi nila kantahin ang "Dont Cha" - their break-out hit, most people would think this was their 1st single pero hindi. Dito lang sila nakilala. That was their last song for the evening.
I cant attach the vid here but you may check em SWAY live in Manila!

Dapat isstalk pa namin sila kasi sa Discovery Suites sila nagstay pero tinamad na kami ahiaihiii..
Paglabas namin ng Araneta may mga camera they were interviewing people who watched the concert. Shempre epal kami, we were like "Sobrang ganda! (in unison) We love you Nicole!!!"
Hihintayin namin ang inyong pagbabalik.

I received a couple of video testimonials in Friendster today.
The first one was a Honeyz video of the song “End of the Line” from a crazy friend, LEI. The video was pretty nostalgic for us because we used to sing this song to our professor a lot especially during our “formative” freshman year.
If you want me to go, then say it…
Want me to stay, then show it…
The second one was a… Well it’s indescribable. One of the most interesting videos I’ve ever seen in my entire life. When I saw it, my emotion was between hysteria and nausea. Oh btw, it was from an in-denial jologs friend of mine, BLESS.
Check it out, while it’s hot =)

When Cheerleaders Go Packing

We, Cheerleaders, did a whole lot of packing.
We packed in the pigpen.
We packed while everybody watched.
We packed the entire day.
We packed ourselves, we packed others too.
It was exhausting!!!
What the pack?!

What's New Here...
.:Pussycat Dolls:.
.:Testimonial:.
i am
Goddess Bastet
The fierce yet seductively beautiful Egyptian goddess Bastet was worshipped as the great protectress and ruler of cats. She is also known as a goddess of life and joy, as well as a guardian of women.
“My path is an ancient one,my heart is true and wise...
I celebrate the fertile green earth, and see with open eyes...
I seek the mysteries of the moon, and dance beneath its gaze...
I pay homage to the Goddess, and lift my arms to her in praise. "
One is not born a woman. One becomes one.

Surrounded by her corresponding colors of
maroon and deep red, the Scorpio Fairy
stands beneath her ruling planet Pluto clutching
a wand fashioned in the shape of her traditional
symbol. She wears a beetle choker since
Scorpio is associated with insects, and her
symbol is tattooed beneath her right eye.
Blackthorn, which is associated with this
Zodiac sign, crowns her and frames this piece.

Variations on the Word Sleep
I would like to watch you sleeping,
which may not happen.
I would like to watch you,
sleeping. I would like to sleep
with you, to enter
your sleep as its smooth dark wave
slides over my head
and walk with you through that lucent
wavering forest of bluegreen leaves
with its watery sun & three moons
towards the cave where you must descend,
towards your worst fear
I would like to give you the silver
branch, the small white flower, the one
word that will protect you
from the grief at the center
of your dream, from the grief
at the center. I would like to follow
you up the long stairway
again & become
the boat that would row you back
carefully, a flame
in two cupped hands
to where your body lies
beside me, and you enter
it as easily as breathing in
I would like to be the air
that inhabits you for a moment
only. I would like to be that unnoticed
& that necessary.
-Margaret Atwood
